I can honestly say that I'm very content with how the last panel on this page turned out, mostly because of the ink lineart. That's true for the majority of my pavourite panels so far: if the lineart looks nice and balanced, it doesn't really matter what kind of colors I slap on there, it'll probably still look nice and balanced in the end. And on the other side of the coin are all the panels with crummy or lame linearts: those rarely end up being anything noteworthy even with some serious color-bling-bling to make up for their lameness. Too bad inking is, by far, my least favourite part of drawing a page... :/

I LOVE that first panel especially. I can't even say why, the angle, the expressions, something, but I wish I had that image on a bookmark or something!
I am utterly hooked on following how you progress with color matching and, particularly, backgrounds over time. The implied spaces you make with just a few color shifts and subtle lines. So good. Honestly, progressing visibly so much over the run of the comic.
