Hah, oddest thing I've submitted to the anthro-category here on DA. Bunch of sheep on a war path... well, maybe not on a war path, they're just defending their own territory after all.

Animals speak the language of death. A weak, sick animal may declare that it is unwilling to die, while a healthy animal may be willing and ready, both shown by actions. This is how predators select their prey. Domestic animals often are unable to speak this language properly, and so are considered easy prey whether they are ready to die or not.
These sheep seem to have overcome their difficulties as domesticated creatures, and are presenting a very strong "we're not ready to die right now" message, as these wolves very wisely seem to recognize.
