I'm back at last. :B

I can't remember when I last put this much work into a single piece: I've been painting on this for over a month, methinks. Not nonstop, of course, but still... *vipes forehead*

This was supposed to be just some random mountain-doodle which I didn't even sketch up before starting to paint, and then it suddenly decided to possess my brain. Here's a WIP-picture I took of it about five minutes into the process-> link. Gorgeous, wasn't it? x<

Hee, gotta check out what is going on with the new look here on Deviantart. Got pretty confused when I logged in today after an absence of almost three weeks and everything looked mighty different. :3

Wow. I just finished reading Ursula Le Guin's 'The Other Wind' and this picture could have been made for that book! Utterly beautiful.

Amazing~ How could you not continue to work on such a piece? The amount of detail you added is great, and the movement of the clouds makes it seem like the clouds are moving slowly across the sky. The clouds overlaying the mountains look a bit awkward because of the back and forth motion, but it reminds me of a fog rolling in. The dragon is fantastic too! I love the lighting on it - gives it a real shine.

I actually didn't realise the scale of the mountain until I noticed the path leading into the ... canyon? Valley? That mountain is gigantic. o_o; I am further in awe. So keep up the good work. <3
