I've been attempting to draw the arriwal of early winter as some kind of evil deer/moose creature over the span of the last two months now, and the number of started paintings amount to five (not counting this finished one). Ilways managed to work on each idea for a few days, then lost all inspiration, scrapped the piece and started on the next one. Extremely frustrating, especially when I don't have that much time over for personal artwork... : P
There are three layers here: one with the snowy backround on the bottom, second one with the autumn version painted on and finally one black one out from which I've carved the deers by using an eraser. At the beginning there was also one layer with a sketch for the deers.
"Kuura" simply means "frost".
